Earlier this month DOC workers, their friends and families had tragedy strike their community several times.
Today the Supreme Court, led by extremists, overturned the right of people to choose how and when to have children. Colorado WINS soundly denounces this decision. We support–and have supported from the very beginning–equal rights for people of every color, class, and religion to make their own decisions about their healthcare, based on accurate, unbiased information and unfettered access to quality, affordable healthcare.

In a recent press release from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Safety which sought to update the public on a new case of monkeypox in Colorado, officials stated that “men who have sex with men” are at higher risk. This is a misleading phrase that may guide the public to believe this disease may only be spread between gay men.
Black, white, and Brown, state employees in every department deserve to go to work in a job that values our safety, has predictable working hours, and be treated with respect.
