An officer and former officer now with parallel agency were both killed in car crashes following excessive work schedules. Another officer was paralyzed in a crash. Colorado WINS members and staff offer condolences for the losses, and support of the young man who is on the long road to recovery.

Members of the Colorado WINS bargaining team have been at loggerheads with department management trying to establish safer working schedules and the respect the professionals working for DOC deserve.
