Be part of the work that wins

Our union is strongest when members are actively involved. Every action — from your workplace to the Capitol — builds power that improves our lives and the services Coloradans count on.
“Being active in my union means I’m part of the community and the union family, and gives me the power to directly influence what we win and how we win for state workers.”
Maddie Cappa, COWINS steward and board member

Political Committee

Yes, we can make sure politicians deliver for state workers. Our political work ensures that the people making decisions about our budgets, contracts, and working conditions understand the reality of state employment.

We vet candidates, make endorsement recommendations, and hold elected officials accountable. We also coordinate member volunteer opportunities during campaigns and track voting records on issues affecting state employees.
