Secure PERA (also known as the Colorado Coalition for Retirement Security) is a coalition of public employees, retirees, and supporters committed to preserving and strengthening public retirement benefits in Colorado. Formed in 2006 and reactivated after the 2008 financial crash, Secure PERA works with the state legislature and PERA to ensure the long-term fiscal stability of Colorado’s defined benefit retirement system.
