There’s no way around it:

Colorado has a revenue problem, and until we fix it, we’re always going to be fighting to fund our Partnership Agreement.

That’s why we need a Graduated Income Tax on the ballot this November. Right now in Colorado, no matter who or what we are–a state employee, a millionaire, a small business, or a big corporation–we all pay the same flat tax rate of 4.4%.

A Graduated Income Tax would mean the top 3% (those earning $500,000 or more) would pay more taxes, and the rest of us would pay less.

Making the wealthiest 3% pay what they should would generate a whopping $2 billion in revenue to help pay for healthcare, education, childcare, AND our Partnership Agreement.

There’s lots of ways you can help make this happen. For example, we’re looking for volunteers to circulate petitions, especially if you’re outside of Denver.

So sign up today, friend, and let’s GIT the GIT on the ballot!
